Brand identity

Why is brand identity important?
-It is important to have brand identity because it can make your buisness become
successful
-It is crucial to create that identity because then the audience can remember it and
recognise it when see something related with the brand(e.g logo)
-It is also important because if many people in the world
recognize it, they may buy the product.

Pros
-It makes it memorable when they have the brand identity such as logo.
Therefore many people may buy it
- It makes the business successful
-Brand identity is so memorable for people that they know what brand it is
and develop that trust for that brand.

EXAMPLE: Apple

Cons
-Difficult to maintain the brand identity
-It is too expensive to design logos and other things
-If the brand wants to change its brand identity to grab more attention
then it is going to be hard because it is very expensive and it is more likely that the
company will go in losses.

EXAMPLE: Motorola

John Lewis Advert idea

My John Lewis advert idea is about a girl who is homeless. The advert starts with a a girl who is in the street in front of a shop in daytime and she is very cold. However, she gets kicked out by the shopkeeper. Then she starts to search for many places but she is never comfortable. When it is night time she sits in a park. This is when she is very depressed and starts to cry because she is not having a very good Christmas eve. At that time, a 10  year old girl with her parent carries with her a new scarf in her bag. But she feels very sorry when she sees a homeless girl. So she decides to give the scarf to the homeless person. After then, the little girl and the homeless person smile at each other. That is when the advert ends. For my advert, I decided to use the song 'The A team' by Ed Sheeren. I chose this song because it relates to homeless people. The advert ends as soon as the lyrics 'Angels fly' comes. This is when the 10 year old girl gives the homeless person a scarf. The little girl represents the angel because children are very kind and polite like angels.
