Denotation, Connotation & Representation

Denotation:

- A little girl with a purple dress holding a teddy

- A tree without leaves

- A lake or a river

- Some trees across the river

 - Reflections of the trees in the water.

Connotation:

- A little girl sitting by herself. This connotes that

she is lonely

 - A little girl holding a teddy. This connotes that she

she is quite sad and she probably hasn't got any friends

- The tree beside the girl has no leaves. This connotes that

the season is Autumn.

Representation:

- This picture represents a lonely child 

-It represents that she is sad and is waiting for

a friend to play with her

- It may also represent that she might have been

bullied. 

 

My favourite movie

               

My favourite movie is Despicable Me 2. It is an animated film and it has characters

like Gru, the minions, Lucy Wilde, Agnes, Margo, Edith, Eduardo Perez, Antonio Perez and Dr. Nefario.

The story starts of with the villain stealing a secret laboratory by using a giant magnet.

The Anti-Villain League get information about this and get Gru to help them find the culprit with 

Lucy Wilde. Gru thinks that it is Eduardo(works in a mexican restaraunt) is the villain. Meanwhile, Agnes

has always dreamed of having a mother so she hopes that Lucy and Gru get together.

In the mission they were some confusions and finding the wrong criminal. But at the end

they finally find that Eduardo is the culprit. 

Gru and Lucy have always had romantic feelings for each other. After so many

dates, they decide to get married and Agnes's dream comes true.

I love this film because its is so funny. It makes you watch it and every

second is a hilarious moment. I would recommend this movie because 

its comedy and it has my favorite characters, the minions!

Why I chose Media

Media was one of my options because I wanted to try something new. I also knew that it would help me in the future because media has become so popular nowadays! I would have to use media everyday of my life.
I also like to be creative and make things because it's fun!
Another thing is that I would learn so many skills and that's what I need every time!!
The things I love about media are films, animations, social networking and lots more!
